FanClacker is a free catalog of live EDM sets that people can rate. Be straight with the ratings, don't abuse the service, and understand that we don't host the music; we point at it. If you disagree with anything below, don't use the site.
You may use the site if you can form a binding contract where you live, and you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need your parent or guardian's permission.
The catalog is free to browse today. We may add paid features, paid plans, advertising, sponsorships, or links that earn us a commission. We will never charge you without telling you the price and asking you to agree to it first, and we will disclose commercial links where they appear.
You can ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing privacy@fanclacker.com.
A rating is your honest opinion of a set. Your individual ratings stay private to your account; what the site shows publicly is the aggregate: a set's average and how many people rated it.
The aggregate is the whole point of the site, so anything that distorts it is the most serious thing you can do here. That includes multiple accounts, automated voting, coordinated brigading, and rating your own work or a client's to move its position.
We may remove ratings, recalculate an aggregate, or suspend an account when we believe this is happening. We will use our judgement, and we won't always explain the specifics, because doing so would just be instructions for evading it.
We do not host any music or video. Sets live on YouTube or SoundCloud, and FanClacker embeds or links to them. Playback happens on that platform, under that platform's terms, and the rights belong to the artists, labels, festivals, and channels who made and published them.
The catalog entries themselves, the organisation, the lists, the descriptions, the site's design and code, are ours.
Email privacy@fanclacker.com with a link to the entry and a word about who you are, and we will take it down. You do not need to send a formal legal notice for us to act, and we would rather hear from you than not.
Don't:
FanClacker is provided as it is. We don't promise the site will always be available, that the catalog is complete or accurate, that a set will still play tomorrow (third-party videos get taken down or go private without warning), or that anything here is free of bugs.
It is a small service run by one person. We may change features, add or withdraw paid ones, remove content, or discontinue the site. If we ever shut it down, we will try to give account holders notice and a way to export their ratings.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
You can stop using FanClacker whenever you like, and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, particularly the rules on rating manipulation.
If these terms change materially, we will update the date at the top and tell account holders rather than relying on you to re-read this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in California, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction.
If you are a consumer, this does not remove the protections of the law where you live, or your right to bring a claim in your local courts where that right cannot be waived.
What we collect and why is set out separately in our Privacy Policy.
